Why Choose Us?

At Shalom Goldendoodles, we believe in the healing power of mind and soul, and that’s exactly what our puppies bring to each family. We pour love, care, and attention into every puppy, making their well-being our top priority. Our goal is to ensure that each puppy is not only beautiful and friendly but, most importantly, healthy.

What do our puppies come with?

Our puppies come with a comprehensive two-year health guarantee that covers hips and elbows. They are up to date on vaccinations and deworming, and each puppy includes a health certificate from our veterinarian, a deworming record, and a microchip. Additionally, we provide a schedule of their care and a list of recommended puppy items to help you get started.

Do our puppies come with any training?

Yes, our puppies come with basic training. We diligently work on potty and crate training every day to ensure they are well-prepared when they join their forever families.

What is the difference between an F1 and an F1b or F1bb?

An F1 Goldendoodle is the original cross between a purebred Golden Retriever and a purebred Poodle. This first-generation Goldendoodle is often considered the “classic” Goldendoodle, with its DNA roughly split 50/50 between the two breeds. F1 Goldendoodles typically shed less than Golden Retrievers but may still experience moderate shedding and could trigger allergies in some individuals.

The F1b Goldendoodle is a cross between an F1 Goldendoodle and a Poodle. The F1bb Goldendoodle is a further generation, resulting from the cross

between an F1b Goldendoodle (25% Golden Retriever + 75% Poodle) and an original purebred 100% Poodle or 100% Golden Retriever.

What size Goldendoodle should we get?

Choosing the right size Goldendoodle to fit your family depends on your lifestyle and living space. For those who travel frequently, have limited space, or prefer smaller dogs, we recommend Toy or Mini Goldendoodles. If you have ample space and prefer larger dogs, a Standard Goldendoodle might be the best fit. Additionally, if you’re looking for something in between, the Medium Goldendoodle offers a balance between the Standard and Mini sizes.

What must I know about deposits?

To reserve your preferred puppy, we require a $500 deposit. Once the deposit is received, the puppy will be removed from our website and reserved for your family. Please note that deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another available puppy in cases of major reasons. The deposit must be used within one year from the date it was placed; otherwise, it will no longer be valid.

Have health tests been performed on the parents?

Yes, we conduct basic health tests on our parent dogs through Embark.

When will you be able to take the puppy home?

Puppies can go to their new homes any time after they turn eight weeks old.

How can we contact you after taking the puppy home?

We are always available to support you after you bring your puppy home. You can reach us via text, phone calls, email, or social media. While we are active on Facebook and Instagram, text messages and emails are the fastest ways to get in touch with us.

F1 vs F1B Goldendoodle: Which of These Goldendoodle Generations Are Better?

The best choice for your Goldendoodle puppy largely depends on your preferences and needs. If you’re looking for the classic “teddy bear” appearance with a straighter, Retriever-like coat, an F1 Goldendoodle might be ideal. For those concerned about shedding and allergies, an F1B Goldendoodle is a better option. If you have severe allergies, you may want to consider an F1BB Goldendoodle, which is less likely to trigger allergic reactions.

Is it better to get a female or male puppy?

Many people have preferences for one gender over the other, but these preferences are sometimes based on misinformation. Both male and female Goldendoodles can exhibit similar traits and characteristics, including energy levels, submissiveness versus dominance, and independence versus dependability. The differences between genders are minimal, and both can offer the same range of personalities and training challenges.

Are Goldendoodles hypoallergenic?

A hypoallergenic dog is a breed designed to minimize allergic reactions by shedding less and producing fewer allergens like dander and saliva. This makes them a better option for people with allergies. Goldendoodles are often recommended for individuals with allergies because their coat is designed to be low-shedding. However, it’s important to note that “hypoallergenic” does not mean “allergen-free.” Even hypoallergenic breeds can still trigger allergies in some people.

What determines the price of a puppy?

Our pricing is determined by availability, color, size, and the dedicated time and effort we invest in each puppy. We aim to ensure every family receives a healthy, well-cared-for puppy that meets our high standards.
