Return and Refund Policy

At Shalom Goldendoodles LLC, we are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our puppies. Please review our return and refund policy below, which is based on the terms outlined in our purchase agreement:

1. Health Guarantee

• Initial Health Examination: The buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 business days of receiving the puppy. If the veterinarian finds the puppy unhealthy for purchase, the buyer must notify us immediately and provide a written statement from the vet. The seller reserves the right to request a second opinion from a veterinarian of our choice at our expense.
• Health Replacement: If the puppy is deemed unhealthy and unfit for purchase by our veterinarian, we will offer a healthy replacement puppy of equal value. If no puppies are available, a replacement will be provided from the next available litter. If the buyer opts to keep the puppy, no replacement will be offered, and all medical costs become the buyer’s responsibility.
• Congenital Defects: If the puppy dies from a suspected congenital defect within 24 months from birth, an autopsy must be performed at the buyer’s expense by a licensed veterinarian. If a congenital defect is confirmed, the purchase price will be refunded. This guarantee is void without an autopsy or in cases of undetermined or inconclusive results.

2. Deposit Policy

• Non-Refundable Deposits: We require a $500 deposit to hold the puppy of your choice. This deposit is non-refundable unless there is a health issue with the puppy. In such a case, the buyer may choose between a full refund or transferring the deposit toward another puppy.

3. No Returns

• Final Sale: All sales are final. Once the puppy leaves our care, we do not accept returns or issue refunds unless the return is due to misrepresentation on the part of the seller regarding the puppy’s health.

4. Rehoming

• Rehoming Offer: If the buyer is unable to keep the puppy for any reason, the buyer agrees to offer the puppy back to Shalom Goldendoodles LLC. We will rehome the puppy but do not offer refunds or replacements unless the return was due to health misrepresentation.

5. General Terms

• Applicability: This return and refund policy applies only to the original buyer and is non-transferable.
• Jurisdiction: All disputes arising from this agreement must be settled in the State of Florida.
